Iceland

Iceland is small country between mainland Europe and Greenland. There are many scenes and plenty of choice for relaxing, indulgence and pampering yourself.
You can walk on a glacier that cover one-ninth of Iceland’s land surface. It is the largest glacier in Europe. And Geysir is the oldest known geyser can hurl boiling water up to 60 meters in the air. Also you can watch graceful whales, and read the ancient Sages. You can spend time indoors in museums and galleries, shopping for the latest designer fashions. Or you can be outdoors on hikes, horseback riding, and river rafting or relaxing in the country’s famous outdoor thermal swimming pools.
It is big differences between winter and summer daylight hours. From May to August, you won’t see much darkness. In mid-winter, only four to five hours a day of daylight. Spring and fall daylight hours are the same as in North America.
Iceland is easy to reach from America with daily flights of less than five hours, leaving from Boston, New York, and Baltimore.
