The Best Beaches of Zanzibar – Spice Island

Most people known the word Zanzibar as Spice Island, that tropical paradise east of Tanzania in the Indian Ocean. This island is not big.

You can walk down the streets and alleys of Stone town, a world heritage site, and feel as if you're in an old movie. Zanzibar is an island only 50 miles long, but full of variety. For instance, You can visit the ruins of the palaces created with "spice" wealth for the Sultans of Oman. Accommodations are inexpensive, and the best part of Zanzibar is that even now the beaches are largely untouched by commercial tourism.

There are more than 30 beaches in Zanzibar.
There are lots of interesting places.

That's nice!! We will go together right? hehe.. Yes, I agreed the second picture make me feel like the old movie. The crystal clear ocean looks very beautiful as well.

Did you notice that video on police brutality in Zanzibar? I noticed it on YouTube when I was watching the travelog you suggested. Such a contrast from the beautiful beaches. Makes you want to be very careful as you research where to spend some time.

I agree, Traveller needs to do some research before travelling.

Zanzibar is so exotic. I see that there is a lot of culture. Oh and the beaches, it looks so appealing. Great destination. What is the currency and rate in this beautiful place? Thanks.
